Abegweit First Nation 31 Kitpu St, Mount Stewart, PE, CanadaWelcome to a culinary journey that delves deep into the rich traditions and flavours of the Mi'kmaq people, rooted in the ancestral lands of Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island). Guests will embark on a gastronomic adventure through food tasting stations which will offer a unique glimpse into the rich tapestry of Mi'kmaq cuisine, showcasing flavours that reflect a deep connection to the land, sea, and community spirit. This curated Mi'kmaq food experience is not just about the dishes themselves, but the stories woven into each bite. It's a chance to learn about the history of the Mi'kmaq people, their deep connection to the land and sea, and the importance of preserving traditional knowledge for future generations. Exploring Epekwitk will also feature cultural performances throughout the evening.

Chief’s Haunted Barn
From October 17-31, the Chief’s Haunted Barn in Scotchfort is back for another year and it’s bigger and scarier than ever. Admission is FREE with a non-perishable food item that will go to the local food bank! Help us beat our record record of 4,500 lbs of food. Open every night from 6-8 p.m. with extended hours on Friday and Saturday until 10 p.m.

Attendees experience vibrant dances, powerful drumming, delicious food, and meaningful connections—creating unforgettable moments. This years celebration is taking place on June 7-8, 2025 in Scotchfort, grand entry is at 1pm. All are welcome to attend. Dancers Registration: 10:00am - 12:45pm Grand Entry: 1:00pm Vendors: Fees are $50/lot per day (15'x15') The full schedule of events will be released soon.
